Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases (CE&IG) Korea is a subsidiary of Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases Group (Group) and is incorporated in South Korea. We are seeking an experienced Engineering manager to join our growing Nikkiso CE&IG Korea team.

Position Summary:

Responsible for providing commissioning expertise and coordinates commissioning resources for the development of commissioning related deliverables, including participation in constructability and operability activities and engineering design review.

Essential functions & Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day to day activities of the project commission team. Comprising commissioning coordinators, commissioning engineers, operations and maintenance specialist.
  • Participate in the key design reviews such as P&ID, equipment layout, and HAZOP to ensure that the precommissioning and commissioning requirements are incorporated into the design of the facilities.
  • Provide expertise and oversight on all construction projects for commissioning and start-up.
  • Responsible for project field and jobsite commissioning and start-up operation.
  • Monitor and reviews all sector start-up and commissioning programs and make necessary revisions to program as required.
  • Design and plan the commissioning phase to match new product features and software modifications meeting project scope.
  • Lead the commissioning engineering group, provide guidance and arrange for training for staff.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Minimum 15 years experience in the O&G industries, especially for LNG’s cryogenic.
  • Extensive Knowledge of Cryogenic process, equipment, and system including liquefaction, storage, regasification and vaporization, such as LNG, Hydrogen Project
  • Strong understanding of commissioning principles, practice, and methodologies with demonstrated experience in managing commissioning activities
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a diverse team in a dynamic and fast-placed environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and results-oriented approach to resolving technical challenges and driving continuous improvement.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work effectively under pressure to meet deadline.
