Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases (CE&IG) China is a subsidiary of Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases Group (Group) and is incorporated in China. We are seeking an experienced pump assembler to join our growing Nikkiso CE&IG China team.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Shop Technician who will be responsible for assembling pumps. The position will report to the manager of production. It is a full-time job.

Essential Functions

• Follow the product structure, working principles, and technical requirements to perform the job.
• Use the measuring tools, processing and testing equipment to complete the assembly work.
• Comply with the operating procedures in operating the equipment.
• Use safety equipment to protect personal safety.
• Fill in the assembly record and inspection records, being responsible for product quality.
• Report the problems found in the production process to the department manager in a timely manner.
• Keep and maintain personal tools and measuring tools.
• Keep the workshop clean and orderly according to 6S management requirements.

Competencies

• Ability to read prints and schematics.
• Basic AC/DC circuitry knowledge
• Understanding of materials of construction.
• Understanding of various system components (regulators, valves, solenoids, pressure relief
• devices, etc.)
• Computer proficiency including, but not limited to: Microsoft Excel, smartphones, tablets, and handheld data entry devices.
• Is an organized self-starter with the ability to proactively plan their daily work schedule.
• Teamwork with ability to effectively cooperate with installation colleagues.

Education and Experience\

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Cryogenics and/or refrigeration experience.
• Installation of mechanical and electrical systems experience preferred.
• Refrigeration or cryogenic experience preferred.
