Dy. Manager / Manager - Project

Location: Vadodara, Gujarat, India

Summary/Objective

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Review contract and resolve queries if any
  • Approve project schedule, Release PNs & prepare WO
  • Approve Project brief, and guide project/process engineer for part selection as & when required.
  • Release Part list, P&ID & PFD
  • Monitor project cost
  • Resolve departmental as well as outside issues to complete projects on time
  • Approve monthly project progress reports and communicate the same with the customer
  • Approve Advance license & cross-country shipment part documents and share with concerned departments
  • Attend customer’s query and provide resolution.
  • Responsibility for evaluating the performance and the effectiveness of IMS.
  • Responsibility for correcting, preventing, or reducing undesired effects.
  • Responsibility for improving including innovation the performance and effectiveness of the IMS.
  • Authority for identifying and reviewing IMS objectives in line with the Integrated management system and defined Quality & EHS policy.
  • Authority to approve the planned changes to the IMS as needed.
  • Authority for changes required in the organizations for improvement of IMS or continual improvements.
  • Release SLD, Schematic & enclosure GA drawing. Approve IO list & system architecture.
  • Provide commissioning and after-sales support
  • Review and release of key documents of the plant like P&ID, Schematic, SLD, etc.
  • To provide commissioning & after-sales support.
  • Identify Risks and Opportunities.
  • Review & Release P&ID & P&ID part list.
  • Review & Release electrical drawings & LOM
  • Release Project drawings and AREV parts.
  • Identify the Needs and Expectations of interested parties.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has direct supervisory responsibilities and does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers, and smartphones.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
